“And WHO is it that dares to disturb me at this hour of the day?” The badger bellowed.
Alfred’s legs turned to jelly. His blood ran cold. He tried to speak. Only a high pitched squeak came out.
The badger’s black eyes bore down on the tiny mouse.
“Pl… Pl…Please Sir,” rasped Alfred. ” I….I..If you’d just let me explain!”
