Should you require double door access, please notify a member of staff, who will be more than happy to help.

Inside the Gallery

The gallery is on one floor, however the internal doors are standard door widths. Wildwood is happy to assist and bring artwork to the main entrance if accessibility is an issue.  We also have a tablet  available for visitors to view the full selection of original paintings, ceramics, jewellery and signed limited edition prints on our website, helping them to better view and select artwork that may be inaccessible. We sell a lot of work from the stock room and use the tablet to show visitors other available work that is not in the current exhibition.

Our website offers all our stock to view and we have current exhibitions as a feature on our website so then they can be viewed virtually. Any of these works can be brought to show customers in the gallery or in the entrance if necessary.  In addition, the gallery also offers a free and no obligation home viewing service for all artwork upon request, which is a convenient option for those unable to make a visit to the gallery.

Due to limited space, there is no permanent seating for visitors downstairs; but the gallery is happy to provide temporary seating upon request.

Due to the historic nature of the building, the floors throughout do have minor steps, dips and rises, but is overall fairly level. Nevertheless, the gallery recommends that care be taken throughout, particularly for visitors with limited mobility.
