Jackie Gale is a well-known, established Devon based, textile artist, who is best known for her delightfully quirky and charming textile art. For many years, her work captured the unique beauty and character of the Devon coastline with a fresh and contemporary approach, but recently, she has turned her creative flair towards capturing the beauty of wildlife, with much of her work focused on our beloved moorlands and its rich natural environment and wildlife. Jackie has nurtured a lifelong passion for textile creativity that continues to evolve and her enduring love of nature has always been a powerful and consistent influence throughout her artistic journey. Her unique style of work is carefully crafted using discarded fabrics and salvaged textile finds, which she transforms into beautiful, meaningful pieces. She loves the tactile nature of her work and finds great joy in breathing new life into materials that might otherwise be forgotten.
