Experience

Cheri Hunston: British wildlife artist, writer. Magical realism & illustrative fine art/ Gallery owner.

I have been a creative all my life, taught to draw and paint by creative parents. My father a book binder and calligrapher and my mother an oil painter.
Literature and painting are inextricable to me. I paint in watercolour, gouache, ink and oils. I am currently writing and illustrating a non-fiction nature book, a fantasy book for young adults and a fiction book for 8-12year olds. My main focus in art will be addressing environmental causes.
