Alan Furneaux is a British Postwar and contemporary painter who was born in 1953. Numerous key galleries and museums have featured Alan Furneaux’s work in the past.
Creativity has always run in his family. His grandfather George Hann, was an acclaimed artist and Alan’s mentor. Alan began very young in oil painting, cutting up old bedsheets and turning them into canvases. He was always working in art and music. He had a canvas on the go wherever he went. When finally, he had to choose between his music career, or art. He chose art. Alan works from his home studio in Penzance Cornwall.
