Water colour Workshop 12th August with Shari Hills

A lovely opportunity to develop your watercolour painting in a relaxed and creative environment. Taking moorland hedges as a loose theme we will explore a range of techniques for creating texture, atmosphere and interest within a painting. Shari will bring a range of photographic references – stone walls, wild flowers, birds, sheep – so there will be plenty of choice and elements to compose a unique painting from. If you have your own references that you would like to use please bring them along.
Initially working wet into wet and developing the painting with a variety of techniques with options for experimenting with glycerine, salt, cling film and a range of water soluble crayons/pencils.
The workshop is aimed at those with some previous experience of watercolour painting who would like the opportunity to explore some different techniques and develop their individual style.
